Smith Mountain Lake Camping, Resorts & RV Parks

The Smith Mountain Lake State Park is the best campground on the lake with cabins, RV sites, and tent sites. There are several privately owned campgrounds around the lake that offer RV parks, tent sites, and mobile home rentals. There is one island campground accessible only by boat in the north part of the lake.
